This was a really fun day! Took my own family out for some family self portraits. We've done lots of regular family photos and also some really fun crazy family photos over the years. This time I wanted to get some shots of us in our Seahawks gear.

Self Portrait Saturday | Twilight

Back to doing self portraits and here is one of my newest ones from this month.

So I am pretty late to the Twilight party. I caught the Twilight movie on TV for the first time in November. Ended up watching all the movies right in a row. Then in three weeks just after Christmas read thru all the books. Totally became addicted and am pretty bummed I missed out on almost 5 years of everything Twilight that many others got to experience.

So I had to do somesort of Twilight inspired self portrait...and here it is :)
Since I live in an area close to where Twilight takes place, it isn't hard to run thru the forest :)

I had a lot of fun with these! Going back to 1971 with a cool car and groovy costumes!

And my youngest little one is such a natural. He loves to play guitar and has the long hair and so I just had to take a photo of him 1970's style:)

Just wanted to share another of my self portrait from this year! This is the honor the 100 anniversary of Titanic. I actually built this boat completely myself from butcher paper and poster board. Was a lot of work, but a lot of fun to see it come together! Thanks!

I have been doing self portraits every week since Janaury 2011. All 52 weeks of 2011 included portraits that the focus was just myself. For 2012 I wanted to give myself a challenge and added my family in the shots, doing 52 weeks of family self portraits.

I have had the idea to redo one of my most popular 2011 self portraits and include my family since last summer and a week of rain finally allowed me to do just that.

here is the 2011 version...

This time I got the entire family flying in the wind and was one of the ideas I had at the end of 2011 that lead me to do 52 family portraits in 2012 :) Enjoy!

Trash the Dress

Extra Info: Being this is the 10 year anniversary month for my husband and I, I am keeping the weekly "Wedding" self portraits going for the month of July. I have wanted to trash my dress since I first learned about doing that a few years back, but I wanted to wait until our 10 year anniversary to be symbolic. The water here is VERY cold, I could not feel my feet after about the first minute. But by the end of the "session" I was fully laying in the water having lots of fun. Lots more of these photos to come in the coming days :)

Now that I am caught up posting my self portraits. I have lots more client images to share in the next few days and have a busy August lined up too :)
