Creative images like these are some of my favorite to do. This pre-teen plays both football and baseball and thus no better way to represent that than to recreate the Bo Jackson photo.
I am very excited to share that I also received 4 awards at the Central Washington State Fair International Photographic Exhibit this year! This is also a juried show where everyone from around the world can enter and you are given a score. Three of my prints received a Best of Class, another one received an Honorable Mention and 6 others will also be on display. All my hard work over the past year has paid off and I am very excited to keep shooting the things I love to create :)

"Dream High"
Every year I take photos of a children's music playgroup with parts of the Navity Scene. Its such a joy to see the children dressed up and interacting with the baby Jesus.

Love doing recreations of old Hollywood personalities and photos. Had a lot of fun doing a photo back in 2008 for my oldest son as Charlie Chaplin.
So I knew I wanted to do something for my youngest eventually. Alex is totally Harpo Marx, similar personality. Thus, it was easy to get him to have fun and pose. I just dressed him and let him do his own thing and we got this gem. can't wait to get it printed :)

"I Love Cheerios"
This photo was taken February 2010 when Alex was 10 months old. I also entered this photo into our local fair and although it didn't win a judged award, it did win People's Choice!

"Brett Chaplin"
This is one of my favorite photos. Most of the time I say its my all time favorite. Top 5 for sure. This was taken in March 2008 and Brett was 12 months old. I entered it into our local fair and won 3rd place in the Humor Division. Wish they still had that division because a lot of my photos would fit that category :)
I posted a pregnancy update a few weeks back....Baby Makes 5
and now they know that it's a boy!! And here is how they announced it!
