Yummy yummy Cheerios! | Seattle-Tacoma Baby Photographer

I love props and prop set ups. When I first saw this idea about 2 years ago i KNEW one day I would have to do this.


I first saw this idea right after Brett was a little too big to do this, although looking back I should have done it with him, because even though he was about 15 months old, in the scheme of children he was still small enough. and i must admit its a shame, because Brett LOVED Cheerios and ate them all the time whereas Alex not so much. Although Alex being young still has lots of time to learn the joys of Cheerios so who knows maybe he will eventually be a Cheerio lover like his big bro :)

I also took this one, which i really like, just wish Alex was looking at the camera :) but then its very "Alex"

Alex wasnt really in the mood to do this the day I did it. and i could have used someone behind me to get his attention. not sure i will try again or not. I do like the first photo :)

just a sneak peak of brett's birthday photos.

these are shoes he wore from sizes 1 thru his size 7's he is in now. there were other shoes he wore, but these ones were the main ones for each size.

I actually plan to do this one again either tomorrow or Monday on seamless indoors. Its either been raining or full sun and I'd like to do this again without all the shadows :) but just in case I wanted this done :)

Alex has been a smidge under the weather after getting shots. Then it was rainy and cloudy and just not in the mood to do any photos. SO i only did valentine photos that one day and Alex wasnt in the mood to do anything creative and i just never got around to it before the actual holiday. THEN i found this awesome bucket for 50% off after Valentine's day and I had to take his photo in it.

So here is Alex's Valentine's Photo for this year. Also plan to use this bucket for newborns and babies!

and its also a photo like this that makes me realize he really does need a hair cut! I *knew* he needed a haircut, but he is starting to look like a girl. But i will miss his wispy baby ciurls :)

On Thursday I got to photograph two of my favorite subjects, Aidan and Dominic :)

On Sunday I met up with the same wonderful family from 2 weeks ago. This time to take some photos of the new baby with her 5 month old cousin.


Of course the newborn was still such a doll and still a little sleepy :)

And I couldnt resit taking some photos of just the 5 month old as well, she was also such a doll.

And a fun one in honor of valentine's day, them in a heart :)

and then a sort of an outtake...this one isn't your typical "portrait" but i love it as I think it totally represents these babies. The entire shoot the newborn was putting her hands up and the older baby was pulling on her dress. Its totally them and I love photos that capture that type of stuff :)

Just thought I would share a few photos from today's Valentine's shoot. I needed to place a photo order and didn't have enough for the minimum amount you need to order, so of course out came the camera and I thought I would take some new photos of the boys and have a little fun :)
